Obituary for Sandra Anne Hogan

Sandra Anne Hogan
SANDRA HOGAN
1945 - 2016

We are touched deeply and forever grateful to have had Sandra in our lives. Her sense of adventure, gentle kindness and unconditional love for her family and friends was absolute. She was an inspiration, a role model and a woman of great dignity. Our loss is profound and our hearts are broken. It is hard to believe that a person so vibrant with a passion for life would be taken from us so soon. Her spirit and her legacy will be imprinted in our hearts and in our lives forever.

With all our love from your adoring family, sisters Kathryn Hogan, Fran Reddick and family, and Gail Dineno and family.

Sandra joined Sunquest in 1975 where, shortly thereafter, she was instrumental in the creation, development and operation of the company's corporate incentive travel division. She served as the company President during its height of success and was viewed by all as a true industry trailblazer held, to this day, in the highest esteem by former clients, colleagues and employees alike.

For those fortunate enough to work directly with her, Sandra's professionalism, altruism and generosity in sharing her vast knowledge and experience helped foster and develop many careers. She felt genuine pride in seeing her staff succeed and, eschewing self-aggrandizement, quietly provided all the tools at her disposal to improve the likelihood of that success. It is no surprise to anyone familiar with Sandra's depth of perception that, to this day, the solutions to many workplace challenges begin with the phrase "What would Sandra do?".

She was so much to so many and, because of this, Sandra's spirit lives on in the incentive travel industry. With great fondness and respect, Lynda Sherriff.

To honour Sandra’s request, a private funeral has been held. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.
